Parties conduct final efforts to secure votes as deadline draws near

ISLAMABAD: Political parties across the country have redoubled efforts to reach out to the public and secure votes as elections day closes in.

Politcal parties have till midnight tonight to finalise their electoral campaign so rallies are scheduled to be held across the country today.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif will conduct a rally in Dera Ghazi Khan and Liaqat Bagh in Rawalpindi while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will display his political strength in Lahore.

On the other hand, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will lead rallies in Shikarpur and Jacobabad while Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) will hold a rally in Karachi. Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) is also expected to conduct a rally in Islamabad today.

Elections are scheduled to be held across the country on July 25.
