Looks like Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding may be on the cards as veteran actor Rishi Kapoor wants Ranbir to tie the knot and settle down as soon as possible.
According to Mid Day, Rishi expressed that he wants Ranbir to get married now considering he is now 35.
“It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don’t have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone.”
Elaborating further, he said that he has never really broached the topic with his son as he prefers to be a father rather than a friend. However, his wife, Neetu often talks to Ranbir about it but he keeps brushing it aside. He also said they would have no objection to his choice of a person as a partner and will be happy with whoever Ranbir is happy with.
Following months of rumours, Ranbir in a recent interview finally confirmed that he is dating actress Alia Bhatt and the relationship is “very new” and he would like to give it some time. Meanwhile, Alia hasn’t been very vocal on the matter. However, the two are often spotted hanging out together and with each other’s families sending the paparazzi into overdrive.
