It’ll be the opposite in the north where areas will be hit by windy and wet conditions.

FRIDAY will begin cloudy in the south with brighter conditions in northern regions.
Central areas of England and Wales will experience wetter conditions.
Saturday will also be wet and breezy up and down Britain with Sunday set to be drier.

MONDAY 8 October is set to be rainy and windy with blustery showers across northern regions and Scotland.
Fine weather will be continue in south eastern England such as Kent with plenty of good sunny spells.
Unsettled conditions are likely to develop throughout the rest of the UK with spells of wet and often windy weather.
Temperatures are expected to start off below average but rise and become warmer than typical of October in the south east.
The second half of October is looking to be wet and windy in the northwest, and gale force winds are at possible.
Towards the end of the month, high pressure is likely to settle more widely across Britain and bring up temperatures to normal and sometimes warmer conditions.
Night time fog and frosts are very likely.
