ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday is chairing an important meeting following the India’s violation of the Line of Control (LoC), ARY News reported.
Sources privy to the development said, the meeting is being attended by the top civil and military leadership, including Army Chief General Qamar Jawed Bajwa and ministers of defence and foreign affairs.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi briefing the participants on the current situation in the aftermath of the LoC violation, said sources.
Earlier in the day, foreign minister had said Pakistan reserves the right to self-defence and a befitting response to Indian aggression.
He was chairing an emergency meeting at the foreign office in Islamabad to discuss the situation of regional peace following the Indian air force’s violation of line of control (LoC).

Reacting over violation by Indian aircraft, Qureshi said the BJP government wanted to destabilise the region due to upcoming polls in India.
“Pakistan Armed Forces are fully capable of defending the motherland,” he continued.
PAF scrambles Indian jets
In the wee hours of February 26, Indian aircraft intruded the LoC near Muzaffarabad sector, however they scrambled back following timely response from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor informed in a tweet, Indian Air Force violated the LoC and the prompt response from the Pakistan Air Force compelled Indian jets to go back.
