Coronation Street fans confused as Sally Metcalfe doesn’t notice Tim is having a heart attack next to her
CORONATION Street fans were left confused last night as Sally Metcalfe failed to notice Tim having a heart attack next to her.
The character – played by Joe Duttine – was rushed to hospital after suffering pain in his chest and arm in last night’s special episode.
He had just finished a 17-hour shift and was convinced he had indigestion.
But it turned out he had suffered a mild heart attack while Sally watched a Zomie film with him on the sofa.
Tim’s sister-in-law Gina Seddon demanded Tim get checked over the GP.
Everyone was left shocked when he was quickly taken away in an ambulance.
Viewers raged that Sally missed his heart attack, with one tweeting: “Sally completely oblivious to the fact that Tim is about to slip into a coma next to her because she’s gripped to The Walking Dead #Corrie.”
Another said: “I should’ve noticed Tim was having a heart attack but I was so busy watching Zombezi” #Corrie.”
One asked: “Sally needs to go to Specsavers #Corrie.”
