ISLAMABAD: A major reshuffle is expected in the federal cabinet and bureaucracy soon, media reports claimed on Monday.
According to reports, it is expected that Prime Minister Imran Khan will change the ministers of certain ministries as part of the reshuffle. Major changes are expected in the Ministry of Finance and Federal Board Revenue (FBR), the reports further claimed.
The reshuffle is expected in the finance ministry is expected after the conclusion of talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the reports said, adding chairman of FBR may also be changed.
A change in the Ministry of Petroleum is also expected.
It is also expected that Imran Khan will appoint an interior minister.
Furthermore, it is also expected that Punjab chief secretary will also be changed.
