LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) summoned Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly, Hamza Shahbaz on Tuesday (today) in a case related to assets beyond known sources of income, ARY News reported.
The NAB issued a notice to Hamza Shehbaz at his residence in Model Town area of Lahore and directed him appear before a NAB team at 3pm at NAB’s Lahore office.
The anti-graft watchdog, in the wake of a sharp increase in his assets during 2005-2017, directed Hamza Shehbaz to provide details of his sources of income.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader was directed to come up with details of his tax returns and wealth statements from 2006 to 2008.

It is pertinent to mention here that Hamza Shehbaz had appeared before the accountability bureau team on April 16 but he could not give satisfactory answers of their questions during quizzing.
Earlier, the Lahore High Court (LHC), on April 25, had extended interim bail of the Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly, Hamza Shehbaz, till May 8.
Hamza Shehbaz along with his lawyers had appeared in the hearing amid tight security arrangement made in and around the high court to avoid any foreseen situation.
