DERA GHAZI KHAN: At least 10kgs of good quality hashish was recovered from an ambulance at a checkpoint near Rakhi Gaj area on Tuesday night, it was reported.
According to police, the smuggler was arrested after the recovery of contraband. Details reveal that the Border Military Police Force stopped an ambulance passing through a checkpoint when it appeared that it carried no patients.
They arrested a suspect, named Raja Gaman, who confessed to the crime. He revealed that he has been smuggling drugs and weapons from Balochistan to Punjab in ambulances for almost four years now.
As of the filing of this report, police said that further investigation is underway.
